Creating a Project

PM360 offers three ways to create a new project.

Option A: Manual Creation

  1. Click New Project from the dashboard or project list
  2. Fill in required fields:
    • Project Name
    • Project ID (auto-generated or custom)
    • Owner and Sponsor
    • Start Date and End Date
    • Budget Baseline
    • Methodology
  3. Add stakeholders
  4. Click Create Project
  5. The system automatically creates the first baseline

Option B: AI-Guided Charter Wizard

  1. Click New Project > AI-Guided Setup
  2. Select a governance profile (e.g., Standard IT, Infrastructure, Quick Win)
  3. The AI assistant guides you through a conversational setup
  4. Answer questions about scope, objectives, stakeholders, and budget
  5. Review the AI-generated project charter
  6. Confirm to create the project with pre-populated fields

Option C: Import from Document

  1. Click New Project > Import Charter
  2. Upload a PDF or DOCX charter document
  3. AI extracts project details automatically
  4. Review and adjust extracted data
  5. Confirm to create the project
