Creating a Project
PM360 offers three ways to create a new project.
Option A: Manual Creation
- Click New Project from the dashboard or project list
- Fill in required fields:
- Project Name
- Project ID (auto-generated or custom)
- Owner and Sponsor
- Start Date and End Date
- Budget Baseline
- Methodology
- Add stakeholders
- Click Create Project
- The system automatically creates the first baseline
Option B: AI-Guided Charter Wizard
- Click New Project > AI-Guided Setup
- Select a governance profile (e.g., Standard IT, Infrastructure, Quick Win)
- The AI assistant guides you through a conversational setup
- Answer questions about scope, objectives, stakeholders, and budget
- Review the AI-generated project charter
- Confirm to create the project with pre-populated fields
Option C: Import from Document
- Click New Project > Import Charter
- Upload a PDF or DOCX charter document
- AI extracts project details automatically
- Review and adjust extracted data
- Confirm to create the project
