Importing a Charter

If you have an existing project charter in PDF or DOCX format, PM360 can extract the key details automatically.

Steps

1. Click New Project > Import Charter
2. Upload your charter document (PDF or DOCX, max 10MB)
3. AI processes the document and extracts:
   • Project name and description
   • Start and end dates
   • Budget information
   • Key stakeholders
   • Scope summary
4. Review the extracted data — correct any misinterpretations
5. Click Create Project to finalise

WARNING

AI extraction works best with well-structured documents that have clear headings and labelled sections. Scanned PDFs or image-only documents may produce incomplete results.
