Creating Milestones

Milestones mark key delivery dates and governance checkpoints in your project.

Adding a Milestone

1. Navigate to the project Milestones tab
2. Click Add Milestone
3. Enter: name, target date, and optional gate type
4. Status defaults to Planned

Gate Types

If a milestone has a gate type assigned, it requires a formal acceptance process before completion. Gate types include: Phase Gate, Quality Gate, Go/No-Go Decision.
