AI Test Case Generator v3.0

PM360 can automatically generate test cases from your BA documents using Claude.

How to Use

1. Open an approved BRD, FRS, SRS, or SDD document
2. The workflow breadcrumb shows: Draft → Review → Approved → Tests Generated
3. Click Generate Test Cases (the blue "next step" card also provides this action)
4. Select coverage level: Minimal / Standard / Thorough
5. Click Generate

During Generation

The live status panel shows real-time progress:

• "Generating… (3 of 9 sections)" with a progress bar
• On completion: emerald success card with link to AI Review Queue
• On failure: rose error card with diagnosis hint

After Generation

Generated test cases appear in the AI Review Queue with an AI badge. Each case includes:

• Case number, title, and steps with expected results
• Priority assignment
• Requirement links back to the source document

Validate or reject each case. Validated cases move to the Test Cases page and can be added to test plans.

WARNING

The document must be in Approved status before test case generation is available. A draft or in-review document cannot generate test cases.
